Dick Sheridan

Dick Sheridan coached at Furman University from 1978-1985 and North Carolina State from 1986-1992, compiling a career record of 121-52-5. Sheridan coached Furman to a 69-23-2 record including six Southern Conference championships. In his first season at NC State, Sheridan elevated the Wolfpack to an 8-3-1 record in 1986, tying the NC State for second in the ACC.   For his successes, Sheridan was named the 1986 ACC Coach of the Year and Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year. Under Sheridan the Wolfpack boasted six winning seasons and six bowl appearances.
