Gary Patterson

Gary Patterson, TCU’s current head coach, was hired in 2000. Patterson has led the TCU Horned Frogs to five conference championships and seven bowls including a 2011 Rose Bowl victory.   His 2009 squad compiled a perfect 12-0 regular season record, a number four BCS ranking and a bowl berth to the Fiesta Bowl, where the squad ultimately fell 17-10 to Boise State. Patterson made history in 2009 as the first non-BCS conference coach to win the Associated Press Coach of the Year. In addition, he won the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year. The win streak continued into 2010, when Patterson’s squad went 13-0 after a Rose Bowl victory and finished second in both the Coaches Poll and the AP poll.
