Jim Grobe

Jim Grobe served as head coach at Ohio from 1995-2000 and at Wake Forest from 2001-2013. The pinnacle of Grobe’s tenure at Wake Forest occurred in 2006, as Grobe led the Demon Deacons to a school record 11 wins and a perfect 6-0 road record. The Demon Deacons won the ACC Coastal with a 9-6 victory over Georgia Tech and earned their first BCS bowl game trip in program history. Grobe was named the 2006 ACC Coach of the Year, AP Coach of the Year, Sporting News Coach of the Year, and Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year for his success on and off the field.
